One of the many beautiful places well worth a visit in Visby is the Botanic Garden, in any season. In the autumn the Botanic Garden sparkles with colour and even in winter its worth seeing the naked branches, evergreens and frozen rose buds.
Gotland
The Botanic Garden is a restful and tranquil place and it is relaxing to sit down there for a while enjoying the setting. When the roses are in bloom its easy to understand why Visby is called "the town of the roses".
